Although there were no Oscars this year, celebrities showed up dressed to impress at this year's Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday. The theme “Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy” explains it all. Mary Kate Olsen (in gold long sleeve custom-designed floor length by Diane von Furstenberg) & Ashley Olsen (also in a long black Diane von Furstenberg dress with sexy keyholes throughout the top), Ivanka Trump in a long princess J. Mendel, Kate Bosworth in a glitzy colorful Chanel accompanied by Karl Lagerfeld, and Diana Kruger in a flirty mini grey Chanel with pink accents on her nails & fabulous shoes.
